EBRD finances Saranist again
Saranist continues its successful collaboration with EBRD. As EBRD have acknowledged in their webpage on 13 Septemer 2011 -
http://www.ebrd.com/pages/news/press/2011/110913.shtml, new agreement is signed for financing to Saranist, an Armenian producer of glass bottles and jars, to help the company increase its production capacity.
The newly combined energy efficient furnace will also improve the quality of the merchandise while reducing production waste.
The continual growth of company draws good persepctives for the future of Saranist.

02 May, 2011 - Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia have rewarded Saranist company for the investments in the economy of Armenia in 2010 year.
There has been announced in Government, by Mr. Tigran Sargsyan, that the company managment has been recongized with their good work, sufficient arrangement to meet the challenges, make creative projects and cooperate with the government within last 3 years.
Saranist company is sure that development will never stopped and for new achievments will be acknowledged in 2012.
08/12/2010 New laboratory has been set up for the glass container product.
It is based on principle of fast, accurate, advanced, practical, overall, etc. Various experiment methods have been trained in the meantime including hardware and software. The chemistry analysis contents weight method, capacity method, the atom absorption ethane flame method, anion electrode method. Laboratory is equipped with digital density meter, self control cold and hot leap meter, glass raw materials uniformity detector, water temp. proofs, digital glass stress detector, container vertical axis offset meter, bottle thickness meter, glass preset hammer impact device, glass bottle inner pressure tester, glass intenerate point meter, glass expand modulus meter. 10/11/2010 Inauguration of new plant.
27 November, 2010 - it was special day for Saranist LLC. as that day was inauguration of new plant, which have been started to produce first bottles just days ago. President of Armenia honoured it with his visit. The brand new facilities have been represented by the company, including new workshop, furnace, forming line and batch house. Impressions have been very pleasant, as above all the technical advantages, it has also looked very nice – everything within one building with two flats which is enough to include all necessary things, without wasting any space around. New plant is to produce cognac bottles of high quality glass, or wine bottles with special olive colour glass. It was really very expected factory by the esteemed customers of Saranist company and major boost for the company itself to be able to meet more demand with higher criterions.
05/10/2010 Shrink nylon production
To supply its own needs for nylon and possible sale for other users, Saranist have established new plant for packaging nylon production. Thus the import of nylon is substituded by own production, which affects the competitiveness of company product as well as giving new opportunity for new items sale.
So the company still searches new ways of development making its activity very complete.
27/12/2009 $3 million loan to Saranist for production expansion
The EBRD is lending $3 million to Saranist, an Armenian producer of glass bottles and jars, to help the company increase its production capacity and diversify its product range.
Founded in 1989 as a small-scale bottle plant, Saranist has since become one of the leading glass manufacturers in Armenia. It produces a variety of clear and coloured glass jars and bottles, which are sold both domestically and exported to Georgia.
The EBRD loan will support the companys strategy to further expand its production volumes in order to offer an alternative to more expensive imported glass products.
The proceeds of the EBRD loan will be used to build an energy efficient new furnace and glass production line, as well as to purchase raw materials required for the expanded production line. The project will enable Saranist to launch the production of new products, such as thick-bottomed jars.
